2-Day Workshop | June 3 - 4, 2023
Anton has painted in many local parks over the years and believes that an artist can always find inspiring landscapes nearby. Join him for a fun outdoor workshop near his home at the beautiful Westmoreland Park in SE Portland.
This workshop will teach you the fundamentals of plein air painting, with emphasis on how to get the most out of a simple subject matter. You’ll also learn the basic elements of composition—including editing shapes, simplifying forms, and using expressive brushwork—helping you to create dynamic and engaging paintings.
Workshop format will consist of informal lectures, live demos, group critiques (optional of course), and one-on-one instruction. Some light refreshments will also be provided.
