Wind Chimes” | 48 × 36 in.
This painting was inspired by a trip to New Mexico, where the hills above Santa Fe come alive with color at just the right time of year. When the breeze moves through the aspens, their leaves shimmer and seem to sing.
Wind Chimes is heading soon to @petersoncontemporary in Bend, OR.
Feeling grateful to Western Art Collector for featuring my paintings in the upcoming exhibition at @petersoncontemporary. I’m honored to be part of this show alongside such talented artists and staff.
Join us for the opening reception on Friday, August 7, from 5–8 PM. Looking forward to celebrating with everyone!

Thank you Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine for highlighting my upcoming show in next month’s issue. I’m very excited about the work I produced and can’t wait to get it all framed and delivered to @petersoncontemporary soon!
Here’s an expressive studio painting I started a couple years ago. I left a lot of areas loose and suggestive when I recently reworked the mid ground. I think the play of complimentary colors in the sky and tree shapes create an interesting quality of light in this piece. To me, it somehow feels both tranquil and yet somehow kinetic.
